MOUNT KENYA CLIMBING

Mt Kenya climbing: Mount Kenya Trekking
Mount Kenya climbing is possible through 3 popular routes; Sirimon route 4days, In Sirimon-out Chogoria route 5days, and in Sirimon-out Naru moru Route 5 days
4 Days Direct Safari to Mt. Kenya (Sirimon Route)
Day 1:
09.00 hrs. Depart Nairobi for Nanyuki for dinner and overnight
Day 2:
After breakfast transfer by vehicle to Sirimon route. Hike to Old Moses camp for overnight (3300m,). The hike takes 6 to 8 hrs.
Day 3:
Hike to Shpton's camp (4200m) for overnight. The hike takes 5 to 7 hrs.
Day 4:
Attempt, Lenana (4985m) at 0300hrs and descend directly to the main road with transfer back to Nairobi.
Mount Kenya Sirimon out Chogoria 5 Days/4 nights

Day 1. Nairobi/Nanyuki

Depart Nairobi mid morning for Nanyuki arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent in this area for acclimatization. Dinner and overnight in a budget hotel.
Day 2. Old Moses Camp
After breakfast, drive to Sirimon Park Gate. After chek-in start hiking through the Rain Forest for 9 km to Old Moses camp (3300m). Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Shipton Camp
Depart Old Moses Camp at 7:30 am via Mackinders Valley to Shipton Camp (4200m). The distance takes 6 to 7 hrs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4.Point Lenana- Chogoria
Early morning departure (3:00 am) to the summit, a walk that takes 3 hrs to point Lenana (4985m) arriving at 6:30 in the morning. After sunrise, descend to Mintos Hut for full breakfast and later proceed down through the Gorges valley to Chogoria Bandas and campsite. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Chogoria/Nairobi
After breakfast, set on morning journey to Chogoria (32km). 4WD vehicles are provided but during bad weather, climbers may have to walk some disance as vehicles may not reach the Bandas. From Chogoria transport is provided back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon
Mount Kenya Climb Sirmon Out Naro Moru 5 Days

DAY 1: Departure from Nairobi is at 0930 hrs to Nanyuki for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: After breakfast vehicle transfer to Sirimon gate and hike to Old Moses camp (3300m) for overnight. (6 to 8 hrs hike).
DAY 3: Hike Shimpton's camp (4200m) for overnight (5 to 7 hrs hike)
DAY 4: Attempt on point Lenana at 0300 hrs and descend leisurely to Met Station for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: Descend the mountain to Naro Moru town with vehicle transfer back to Nairobi.






4 DAYS: MASAI MARA / LAKE NAKURU


Day1:Nairobi-Masai Mara
8.30 a.m. Depart Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley arrival in time for lunch. Precede on an afternoon a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at the Camp or Lodge
Day 2: Masai Mara
After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the Camp or Lodge
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru.
Pre-breakfast game drive from 0600 – 0900hrs. late breakfast, leave camp/ lodge and proceed to Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel or Lodge
Day 4: LAKE NAKURU – NAIROBI.
0800 hrs: After breakfast spend the morning watching and photographing birds and wild animals in the park. After lunch leave for Nairobi stopping for panoramic vies of the Great Rift Valley en-route. Arriving at Nairobi in the Afternoon.

5 Nights Samburu, Treetops, Nakuru, And Masai Mara. Road Safari
Day 1
Depart and drive north to Samburu for lunch and afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar
Day 2
Early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for Aberdare National Park to arrive for lunch at base hotel. Later proceed to Treetops lodge or the Ark for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
After full breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge or similar.
Day 4
Depart after breakfast for Masai Mara game reserve to arrive for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Hippo Tented Lodge or similar.
Day 5
Full day game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Hippo Tented Lodge or similar
Day 6
Depart, morning game drive in the park and drive to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon




3 Nights Samburu Game Reserve and Mt. Kenya. Road Safari.
Day 1:
Depart and drive north past the equator to Samburu Game Reserve to arrive in time for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena lodge or similar
Day 2:
Full day game drive to see rare types of game like grevy's zebra, long naked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, beiza oryx. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena lodge or similar
Day 3:
After breakfast depart for Mt. Kenya Safari Club for lunch, O/N at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.
Day 4:
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in afternoon.

2 Nights Maasai Mara Flying Package
DAY 1 :
You are transfered from your Nairobi Hotel / residence to the Wilson Airport to catch the 10.00 hr flight to Maasai Mara . You arrive 45 minutes later. Met at Airstrip ,take a game drive enroute
to the Lodge / tented Camp . Lunch. Evening game drive at 1600hrs .Overnight Masai Mara.
DAY 2 :
Morning game drive. Return for breakfast.Evening game drive. Overnight Masai Mara.
DAY 3 :
Morning game drive. Return for breakfast.Option for 11.00 or 16.00 hours flight back to Nairobi.


7 Nights Nairobi, Samburu, Ark, Nakuru, And Masai Mara. Road Safari.

Day 1: Meet and transferred to the Stanley hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 2: Depart and drive north towards Mt. Kenya for Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch at
Samburu Serena lodge with afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 3: Full day game drive at Samburu game reserve. All meals and overnight at Samburu
Serena lodge or similar.
Day 4: Depart and drive to Aberdare National Park. Lunch at Aberdare Country club base
hotel for The Ark Lodge. Afternoon transfer to the Ark lodge to spend the rest of the
afternoon watching wild life at the flood lit Saltlick Water hole. Dinner and overnight at
Ark Lodge or similar.
Day 5: After breakfast, depart and drive to Nakuru National Park arriving for lunch and
afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge or similar.
Day 6: After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving for lunch and afternoon
game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Hippo Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Full day game drive including visit to hippo pool. All meals and overnight at Mara
Hippo Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 8: After breakfast depart for Nairobi airport for flight back home

3 DAYS MASAI MARA.

Depart driving the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Hippo Lodge or similar
Day 2
Full day game drives at the park looking for the big five and other wild animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Hippo Lodge or similar
Day 3
After breakfast depart with en- route game drive for Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon
